Elementary Program
Program that suits children aged 6 years – 12 years old (Grade 1 to Grade 6
)
In the Lower Elementary Program (Grade 1, 2 and 3):
- The children seek the reason for everything rather than expected to memorize a curriculum.
- The children are presented the Montessori curriculum in an integrated way through what Dr. Maria Montessori called “seed of interest” lessons of all aspects of culture to touch the imagination and ignite the intellect so they come to understand the interrelation of the knowledge.
- The children are given keys to the universe.
- The children work at their own pace and search for answers through individual and small group activities.
- The Montessori curriculum accommodates multi-age range children and facilitates children with different learning styles.
The students learn:
- geography
- biology
- history
- language
- science
- music
- art and
- all branches of mathematics.
In the Upper Elementary Program (Grade 4, 5 and 6)
In the Upper Elementary Montessori Program (Grades 4–6)
- Students deepen their learning through research, critical thinking, and independent inquiry rather than rote memorization.
- The integrated Montessori curriculum encourages connections across disciplines, supporting a broader understanding of the world.
- Children pursue personal interests through long-term projects that develop responsibility, organization, and perseverance.
- Collaborative and independent work fosters leadership, social maturity, and effective communication skills.
- The multi-age environment nurtures mentorship, confidence, and a growing sense of social and global responsibility.
